Summer A. Slaughter, MPH

Summer Slaughter received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Health Disparities in Society from the University of Florida in 2015. During her undergraduate career, she was an intern for the Equal Access Clinic and conducted surveys to understand the patient populations’ barriers to healthcare access. She graduated from the University of Florida n the Spring of 2017 with her Master’s in Public Health with her concentration in Social and Behavioral Science. Her current research interests include health disparities and the intersectionality of health and wealth, and minority health in regards to mental health.
